Weekly R.E.P.O.R.T. 12/01
Reading:
The final 30% of House of Flame and Shadow. I started the final book months ago, but I was never fully invested in this story until my friend mentioned how much it picks up in the last bit. (She was right!)
The Strange Science of Scheduling a College-Football Season goes into detail about how universities fill in their football schedule for the season. I don’t want to spoil the article for you, but would you believe me if I said college football has their own version of Tinder in a way? (Also, if there’s a football team out there that wants to pay me $1.9 million for an easy W, I think I could pull together a team of men who would have gone D1 but…)
Feel behind on your reading? Me too after looking at The 100 Must-Read Books of 2024 by Time and realizing I haven’t read most of them…But I still have 31 days left in the year to catch up…
Eating:
French food in Knoxville? Unlikely, but not unheard of. Lance and I ate at Lilou while visiting his parents this past week and it was AMAZING! (Or maybe everything is amazing after several Espresso Martinis..whose to say?)
Playing:
With the help of my mom’s sewing machine she is so graciously letting me borrow, I have recently decided to attempt to make my own clothes. To start off this new journey I recently ordered this fabric and this pattern.
This DivaxTGIF remix on REPEAT!!
Obsessing:
This season of Dancing with the Stars-more specifically Chandler/Brandon and Stephen/Rylee’s Freestyle!
Studio Celine W most recent ACOTAR inspired paintings, and her upcoming Era’s tour one that I might just have to get! Both her and Mark Maggiori (who I also love) have new print drops happening December 5-7th and my wallet is already crying!
Recommending:
Sydney Graham Learn How To Sew Playlist -This has been helping me feel significantly less overwhelmed about starting my new sewing adventure!
Normal Gossip-The podcast that is playing in my ears almost 100% of the time! Forget celebrity gossip-this one is for all of my people who like niche community gossip such as dog park drama, why you shouldn’t listen to your neighbors through your thin apartment walls, and so much more!
Treating: Myself to a quality eye exam! This is one of those things that really has me feeling like a true adult. I also can’t see at night…So this was a long time coming.
A closet cleanout after watching Caroline Winkler’s vlog.
I also bought coffee 4x this week instead of drinking the Nespresso pods I just ordered…So I guess that as well!
